Marren was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, spent her college years in Manhattan, Kansas, and currently calls Memphis, Tennessee home.

She has long been in love with nature. Feeling most at home in a forest in the mountains, she wants her work to feel like something you found beautifully preserved in a hidden cabin.

Marren is also quite the spiritualist. She can often be found surrounded by her vast crystal collection, tarot cards, and her two familiars; Kimbo and Clementine.
